In the course content, I focused on creating content for a website and a podcast. Additionally, I worked on user engagement by creating engagement products and experimenting with social media.

The podcast my team and I created was called Buurtbabbels. The main topic was the different neighborhoods of Amsterdam. Each week, a new episode would highlight one of Amsterdam’s neighborhoods. Featuring the best lunchrooms and restaurants, fun facts, and interesting places to visit.

Thinking about content

For this assignment, we were challenged to think carefully about the content of a website—the way it is written, structured, and presented.

Additionally, we had to define the content and tone of voice for the podcast we were creating. We considered what topics we wanted to cover and how we wanted to communicate them to the right audience. Through desk research and interviews with our target group, we were able to achieve the right results.

Marketing

For this assignment, we also worked on marketing our podcast. We did this by creating engagement products in the form of stickers, which could be placed in approved cafés and restaurants or in random spots around the city.

Additionally, we created an Instagram page for the podcast. On this page, we shared visuals of the areas we visited in the city and posted reviews of the featured restaurants.
